The Promise of Everlasting Life

[Dan 12:2] And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame [and] everlasting contempt.
[Jhn 1:4-5] In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
[Jhn 3:36] He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
[Jhn 5:24] Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
[Jhn 6:40] And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

I want to see the Son and hear the Word and believe on Him that sent our Lord to us, the Father. I hope you do as well. What a wonderful promise of God that we can believe in. It sounds wonderful to pass from death unto life. Though I must say Hollywood and everyone seems to think we all pass from death unto life. Which I find a heresy that is indeed anitchrist. For without the Son no man can live after death. In the movies vampires give eternal life. Which again is a blatant heresy. Darkness is nothing. Light is everything.

[Rom 6:23] For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life through Joshua Christ our Lord.
[1Th 4:13-15] But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Joshua died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Joshua will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive [and] remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
[Act 13:35-36] Wherefore he saith also in another [psalm], Thou shalt not suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:

You should click on these verse references and read the next verses, the whole passage. There is much more written than I can call out in this digital book. Obviously the scriptures say men sleep. Even Joshua said the same thing. If we read the scripture with the eyes of the Spirit we can learn all things.

[Jhn 11:9-13] Joshua answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world. But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him. These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep. Then said his disciples, Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well. Howbeit Joshua spake of his death: but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep.

As I mentioned most don't believe in death. The immortal soul which is a Greek philosophy is similiar if not the same to the Buddhist idea of reincarnation. Some how humans above all animals cannot actually die is the idea. Bill Cosby played in a movie called "Ghost Dad(1990)" with a crazy taxi driver in which his soul leaves his body. This idea is antichrist. Unless we know the Son of God we have no immortal soul. Men are like beasts.

[Ecc 3:18-19] I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts. For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all [is] vanity.
[1Pe 1:24] For all flesh [is] as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:
[Mar 8:23-24] And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought. And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking.
[Isa 65:22] They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree [are] the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.
[Rev 7:4] And I heard the number of them which were sealed: [and there were] sealed an hundred [and] forty [and] four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.

These elect of God are the people of God. Abraham's decendants, human beings subject to death, the 144,000 mentioned in the book of Revelation by John, and their children's children forever, world without end. These do not however live forever. As humans they do not have the promise of eternal life. Only those that are one with the Son of God and made brand new through the regeneration of the Son of Man are promised eternal life, the Church. Immortality comes by faith in the Son of God, new birth or the Harvest. We must be born of God to be eternal like Joshua was before he came. We escape flesh and put on a new body. That is our only hope of everlasting life. Ransom. Salvation. Turn to the Harvest!

[Gen 2:17] But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
[Rom 5:14] Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.
[Gal 3:13] Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed [is] every one that hangeth on a tree:
[Heb 2:9] But we see Joshua, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
[Isa 45:17 KJV] [But] Israel shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.

There is only one God, the Father. I should say that again. Because a great falling away has happened and the churches of men teach a heresy. As hard as it might be to hear none the less the truth is God is only one. We have one God. And He has one Son. And that Son reigned as Lord the Highest Priest who also was born again in the flesh as the Lamb. In one moment the entire destiny of humanity changed. In an instant salvation came unto men. For the Light in the beginning with God put on a human form and tasted death. Remember the darkness cannot comprehend Light.

[Isa 42:16] And I will bring the blind by a way [that] they knew not; I will lead them in paths [that] they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.

Like I said you should click on these verse references and read the passages. The things you will learn from the Holy Spirit are for you and you alone. I cannot teach you. Let the Holy Spirit guide you unto the full knowledge of the Son of God. For the Son of God is the Word of God and He is the promise of Everlasting Life himself.
